Anthony Davies — Owner, A & R Property Maintenance
Anthony Davies is the Owner of A & R Property Maintenance, bringing over 30 years of experience across residential, commercial, and luxury hospitality environments. He remains hands-on within the business, working alongside the team to ensure every project is delivered to a consistently high standard of workmanship, safety, and finish.
His background spans senior operational roles within the luxury hotel sector, including 5-star and 5 Red Star properties, as well as high-end hospitality and investment-led environments in both the UK and internationally. This includes extensive experience in South Africa, particularly in Cape Town’s high-value areas such as De Waterkant, Bantry Bay, Camps Bay and V & A Waterfront, where luxury hotels, spa facilities, and premium residential properties operate to exacting standards.
Alongside this, Anthony’s experience extends across the UK in regions including Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, and Worcestershire and now home in Dorset, with a particular focus on the care, maintenance, and oversight of listed and heritage buildings, where precision, compliance, and respect for structure are essential. Throughout his career, Anthony has worked closely with hotel owners, investors, compliance officers, health and safety teams, and operational management, ensuring strict adherence to regulations, planned maintenance schedules, and risk management procedures. This has included coordinating maintenance programmes, resolving urgent site issues, and maintaining environments to inspection-ready standards at all times.
This foundation developed a deep understanding of safety, compliance, presentation, and operational efficiency, alongside an uncompromising attention to detail. These standards now sit at the core of every project delivered by A & R Property Maintenance.
Outside of work, Anthony is equally hands-on in his personal interests. He enjoys working on upcycling and restoration projects in his workshop studio. This practical, problem-solving mindset carries through into both his personal and professional life, where he takes satisfaction in improving, repairing, and bringing things back to life with care and precision.
Anthony is known for his strong work ethic, honesty, and straightforward, approachable manner. A natural problem-solver, he takes pride in delivering practical, long-lasting solutions and ensuring work is completed properly, without compromise.

Rochelle Davies — Co-Owner, A & R Property Maintenance
Rochelle Davies is the Co-Owner of A & R Property Maintenance and plays a pivotal operational role within the business, overseeing structure, standards, and client experience across all day-to-day activity. While Anthony leads on-site delivery, Rochelle ensures the business operates with clarity, consistency, and control from initial enquiry through to completion.
Her background spans the luxury hospitality sector, where she held senior sales, marketing, business development, wedding, and events director roles within some of the UK’s leading hotels, both nationally and internationally. In these environments, she was responsible for delivering high-value client experiences, managing complex operational coordination, and maintaining relationships across private, corporate, and investment-led portfolios.
This experience developed a strong operational mindset built around standards, presentation, accuracy, and service delivery. Today, this translates directly into her role within A & R Property Maintenance, where she oversees operational structure, client communication, property inspections, and property inventory recording, ensuring every project is managed with clarity and accountability.
Alongside her operational responsibilities, Rochelle brings a strong creative and design-led capability to the business. She writes and produces music in her spare time and has a natural strength in written expression, storytelling, and poetry. This creative discipline informs her professional approach to communication, branding, and presentation, and has also contributed to the development of the company’s visual identity, including elements of logo and brand design.
Rochelle is also responsible for maintaining standards across property inspections and inventory recording, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and professionalism across all documentation and client-facing processes.
She is known for her calm, approachable manner and clear communication, combined with a strong commitment to standards and a zero-tolerance approach to rudeness or unprofessional behaviour. She ensures all interactions remain respectful, constructive, and solution-focused at all times.
Her ability to combine friendliness with firm operational control, alongside a highly detail-driven and creative mindset, makes her a central figure in the business and a key driver of both structure and presentation.

Bailey — Director of Security 🐾
Bailey is a 4-year-old working Cocker Spaniel and the officially unofficial Director of Security at A & R Property Maintenance. Operating at 200% energy, he takes his role seriously… especially when it involves monitoring deliveries, guarding snack supplies, and supervising all comings and goings.
Highly intelligent, endlessly affectionate, and always on duty, his specialist skills include tennis ball retrieval, treat detection, and beach walk operations.
A very real mummy’s boy, Bailey is happiest by Rochelle’s side — the true centre of his world and the business.
Trusted Sub-Contracting Team
We take pride in delivering approximately 96% of works in-house, ensuring consistency, accountability, and a high standard of finish across every project.
For specialist services such as gas engineering, roofing, and selected structural works, we work with a small number of trusted, long-standing subcontractors who share our standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
All other services, including general building works, carpentry, decorating, and day-to-day property maintenance are carried out directly by Anthony and the in-house team, with approved external specialists engaged where required to ensure full compliance and certification.
Every contractor we work with is carefully selected, regularly trusted on repeat projects, and treated as an extension of our own team — ensuring the same level of care, communication, and finish throughout.
